Hey there!
First things first, I'm Austrian so feel free to write in German, but English reaches more people.. so... :)
I'm renting out a room in my flat come April!
My roommate could move out even sooner if you would need to move before then...
With my roomie leaving a beautiful, bright and quiet room is available in the lovely 8th district.
Looking for a young professional to share my flat with, or at least someone whos college party days are over and who also has a normal work week.
THE APARTEMENT:
The room is around 22m2, quadratic form, high walls and the windows are looking into a green and quiet courtyard. Due to the orientation you get morning sunlight in the room :) typical Viennese "Altbau" , nearly 4m high walls, wooden floor boards...etc
The flat is around 80m2, has a big entrance, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and separate WC and two bedrooms, which are separated by a small room, which I use as an office and wardrobe space.
I pay for that one of course, it doesn't affect you at all, but for the extra benefit of privacy this additional room between the two bedrooms provides.... :)
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:
The flat is in the lovely 8th district, in the Lange Gasse. As you are in the second building the two Lange Gasse 48 buildings, you don't hear any street noise, but the birds of the garden in front of your window. Our district is full of nice restaurants, cafés and bars. And also very well connected public transportation- wise:
U2 Rathaus (at the moment closed) - 2 min walk
U3 Volkstheater: 10 min walk
U6 Josefstädterstrasse: 10 min walk
BUS 13A, 3 min walk
Tram 2, 5, 33, 46 : 8 8 88 min walking distance
Supermarkets: Spar and Denns are a 2 mins walk away. 5 mins to a small BILLA. And a 10 mins walk to Hofer. On Saturdays there's a lovely Biomarkt in the Lange Gasse. And it takes 10-15 mins to Brunnenmarkt by bike or tram.
I'm a 37 years old, usually cheerful, bright and colourful person!
The flat is quiet and we are very independent, which means that I do value my quiet down- time as well,
even though I'm communicative but often just need my peace to unwind at home.
Especially now, since I had long covid twice since 2021 and am still recovering a little.
I'm a graphic designer and work at a friends boutique and love to do stuff by hand like sewing, painting and also cooking when time allows it.
But I love enjoying a tea, meal or prosecco together when the time allows it. or a coffee outing. there are so many lovely cafes nearby.
What has been an issue the last 3 years:
Since I work, sometimes also in the evenings (when designing stuff) I like to be made aware of visitors beforehand.
In the past I often came home tired in the evening just to find several people occupying the kitchen and while I don't have a problem with visitors in general, its nice to know in advance...
I also had issues with people playing music / heavy beats super loud after 10pm.
And because of my experience long covid please be aware that I'm a more careful person, so if you like to have LOTS of people over ALL THE TIME this might not be the place for you....
Again, its all about respect and if it is talked through there also shouldn't be a problem... communication is KEY and all can be happy :)
hm what else?
I have grown a small jungle in the last year, one of my lock down projects. Another is making popcorn from scratch.
You are welcome if you are open, easy going, CLEAN and are VACCINATED :) 
Looking forward to meeting you all, preferably in person for a tea or coffee, if not via facetime, zoom or something similar.

PS:
I also purchased a 2 in 1 washing machine / dryer unit with my last flatmate. we shared the cost.
she obviously used it so the remaining part for the washer would be 100.-
in case u move out this would be repeated with the next person.
as you all know the gas/power cost increased over the last year.
I tried to find a fair rate where we wouldn't need to pay back a crazy amount at the end of the year, so the overall cost for Wien Energie is 155.- monthly.
